The NADMED Award 2025 invites scientists and clinicians to push the frontiers of metabolomics. This global competition offers up to $30,000 in advanced technology and expert collaboration, awarded to projects with strong scientific potential and translational impact. Applications will be reviewed by a distinguished scientific panel.
NADMED’s novel technology enables precise measurement of all four NAD forms (NAD⁺, NADH, NADP⁺, NADPH) and both reduced and oxidized glutathione (GSH, GSSG) — surpassing traditional mass spectrometry in simplicity and accessibility.
We welcome academic labs, pharmaceutical companies, clinical researchers, and innovative organizations to submit proposals that explore the roles of redox metabolites in biology and disease.
Award Highlights
Winning projects will receive:
- NADMED metabolomics kits
- In-house measurement services
- Expert scientific consultation
Total value: up to $30,000 (based on award category)
Applicants are encouraged to describe how they would apply NADMED technology to study blood, tissue, or cell samples in the context of redox biology.
Award Categories
While applicants may choose the most suitable category, NADMED reserves the right to reassign categories during the evaluation.
Eligibility & Requirements
Projects must meet the following criteria:
Scientific Relevance: Address a meaningful scientific or clinical question.
Public Data Sharing:
- Academia: Results must be published (paper, white paper, conference talk/poster) within five years.
- Industry: Outcomes must become publicly available (e.g., patent, report, or publication). Alternatives negotiable.
Internal Data Use: NADMED will access anonymized project data (e.g., sample types, conditions) under MTA. Some limited, non-sensitive data may be used in marketing with winners consent.
Funding Scope: Support will be provided through kits, services, and consulting time (not cash).
Customer Status: Existing customers may not apply with ongoing projects, but new initiatives are welcome.
We particularly encourage:
- Creative or repurposed uses of NADMED kits
- Projects benefiting from accurate NAD/metabolite data
- Translational studies with clinical or therapeutic relevance
